FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School has named Steve Beier as the new boys and girls tennis coach.
Beier has been the director of tennis at the Fort Wayne Country Club for the past 37 years. He played four years of high school tennis at Homestead High School and four years of Division 1 college tennis at Bowling Green State University.
He has written two books on the game of tennis, and numerous articles for different periodicals. His passion is to apply biblical principles to the game of tennis so that his players can learn life skills from tennis skills.
He is married and has five kids ranging in ages from 15-26.
He looks forward to being part of the Concordia coaching staff.
