Please describe your position at CLHS.
I handle the day-to-day surprises that take place with our students. A big part of that is helping these young minds make intelligent, logical, Christ-like decisions.

What was your education that led you to CLHS?
It starts being an '04 grad of CLHS, the best class in Concordia history!! 2008 undergrad of Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education. I then received my Master's in Educational Leadership from Concordia Ann Arbor in 2016.

What did you love most about teaching at CLHS?
I loved engaging with students in Math class. You typically have 2 types of students, people that love math and people that dislike math. So I was always trying to find that spark in class with each student to continue to push them forward and grow in Mathematics.

What's your favorite story about your time at CLHS?
Winning the Lip Sync competition against Mr. Brune during a Homecoming assembly. Having no idea what I was doing and asking my classes for song suggestions, dance move input, and costume coordination. Mr. Brune has more rhythm and dance ability than I ever will, so to be able to pull that upset off was pretty fun.
