Junior Achievement has announced the student winners of the JA Career Success Essay Contest. The winners for Concordia Lutheran High School are senior Dontrell Johnson and junior Wyatt Raney! Dontrell wrote about wanting to be a psychologist, and Wyatt wrote about wanting to be a pilot.
This year, JA received funding through the Schwab Foundation in order to offer an essay contest for students currently enrolled in the JA Career Success® and/or JA Career Speaker Series® programs. This essay contest allows each participating student an opportunity to research and write an essay about a career that interests him or her. Dontrell and Wyatt will each receive a $100 cash prize and a job shadow experience based on the career of interest as written in their winning essay.
