This is my first year teaching at CLHS.
Please describe your position at CLHS.
I am currently teaching English 10 and AP English Language and Composition.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Concordia University Nebraska and a Master of Arts in English degree from Long Island University in New York.
What did you love most about teaching at CLHS?
I am looking forward to being allowed to integrate my faith into my classroom lessons again.
What's your favorite story about your time at CLHS?
My favorite memory about CLHS so far is from being a parent on the sidelines when the 2021 Marching Cadets performed at the state finals. I will never forget the emotion in the music when they pulled out the crown-of-thorns flags to emphasize Jesus' love for us when He died on the cross.
Who were your mentors in your career to becoming an educator?
I will always be grateful for JoAnn Kast at Long Island Lutheran High School who taught me how to "not put the squirrels to sleep" and for all of my professors at Concordia University Nebraska who showed me how I can be an excellent teacher and a faithful Christian witness at the same time.
