The 2022-2023 school year has officially come to a close. Grades are submitted, graduation is over, grad parties are in full swing, end of year meetings have wrapped up, and I am officially checked out for the school year. If you need me, I’ll be at the lake.
I’m sure at some point I’ll open my laptop to front-load some work for the upcoming school year. Maybe I’ll assign a summer assignment for APES and revamp some labs for Biology or Environmental Science. Today though, is not that day. I’m considering myself a senior who just graduated. Four years ago, the recently-graduated seniors and I were finishing up our first year at Concordia. Since then, we have made it through Biology, ICP, and Environmental Science together over the last 4 years. A lot has been accomplished and it’s time for a break.
Church usually ends with a blessing and this has become one of my favorite parts of the service. It seems fitting to end my final task of the school year and begin the summer with this same blessing. May the Lord bless you and keep you all the days of your life.Science Teacher
