Concordia Lutheran High School English students were treated a visit from Katherine Reay, a national bestselling and award-winning author of multiple works of fiction and nonfiction. Ms. Reay's visit was a rare opportunity for students to learn from a master storyteller and gain insights into the craft of writing.
During her talk, Ms. Reay shared her wisdom on a wide range of topics, including the importance of research, plot structure, and setting. She also spoke about her own writing process. Ms. Reay's words were both informative and inspiring.
In addition to her talk, Ms. Reay also took questions from students, which allowed for a more intimate and interactive experience. Students were left with a deeper appreciation for the art of storytelling and were grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a well-established author.
