I'm a Registered Dietitian/ Bariatric Coordinator at Parkview Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery. I manage the Bariatric Surgery program for Parkview, educating and supporting patients before and after their life changing surgery.

What led you to your current occupation?
I have always been interested in health and wellness. I knew I wanted to get into healthcare after watching my mom during her career. My aunt is a dietitian and inspired me to go down this path!

What school activities were you involved in during your time at CLHS?
I participated in two years of volleyball, two years of cross country, four years of gymnastics, and four years of track.

What did you love most about CLHS?
I loved the smaller feel of the high school. I felt more connected and cared for by the teachers and staff. I met so many people that are still some of my best friends to this day! The Christ-centered education taught me a lot that I have carried throughout my life. I loved being involved in the sports teams, the hard work and competition taught me many long term lessons.

What advice would you pass along to current CLHS students?
Soak in your time at CLHS! Get involved, connect and meet others! It goes by fast, enjoy it!

What is your favorite bible verse?
Proverbs 3:5

Is there anything else you'd like to share?
My family and extended family have a long history of attending Concordia. My husband and I plan to continue this tradition and have our kids attend Concordia. Our oldest will be there in a couple of years which is very hard to believe! I can’t wait to be there, show my kids how blessed they are to be a part of Concordia and be more involved again!
