FORT WAYNE, Ind. — John Minnich has been named the next Chief Financial Officer of Concordia Lutheran High School.
Minnich is a Certified Public Account who is currently serving as an assistant professor of accounting at Manchester University where he has designed and taught courses in nonprofit management, accounting, business, finance and business application.
He has previously worked as an accountant and consultant at many firms and organizations, including Dulin, Ward & DeWald, Inc.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in financial accounting from Manchester as well as a Master of Accountancy from the same university.
He has been awarded multiple certifications and grants, and was recognized as a “40 under 40” honoree in 2014 from the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly.
In the community, he has served on the boards for Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, Community Transportation Network and the Financial Executives International-FW Chapter, among others.
As CFO at Concordia, he will be responsible for setting and managing the yearly budget, Human Resource management, the student financial aid budget, regular audits, care and planning for facilities and grounds, and state regulations for private high schools. He also will oversee the tuition management and enrollment of all students, including establishing the guidelines for which students are admitted and receive financial assistance.
His official start date will be June 6.
