1994 CLHS grad to highlight work in magazine field during Alumni Mentor Program

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — On May 11, Concordia Lutheran High School will welcome Christy Sandmaier, a 1994 graduate and the brand manager of gymnastics and dance for Inside Publications in Atlanta, for its monthly Alumni Mentor Program. The goal of the program is to introduce students to various careers paths through alumni connections.

In her position, Sandmaier directs all editorial content, marketing and social media for Inside Gymnastics Magazine and Inside Dance Magazine, both bi-monthly publications which include profiles to stars, coverage of events, including the Olympic Trials, USASF Dance and Cheerleading World Championships, and information style and news.

Prior to her position at IP, she worked in the non-profit sector in Fort Wayne, at both the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Fort Wayne Ballet directing all administrative, marketing and fundraising efforts.

She is a graduate of IPFW with a degree in English and communication media and minor in journalism.
