Concordia news and event updates

Hello Concordia,

This month we celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, and in doing so, we look back with thanksgiving, and look forward with hope and promise that God is with us and that His word in scripture, holds truth and instruction for our lives.

We have so much to celebrate in our high school community. Koinonia Service Day was a success on October 6 with our 66 Koinonia groups scattered about Fort Wayne area in a variety of community service activities (Koinonia photos on Facebook). Congratulations to Addison Agen for her successful audition on The Voice - Go Team Addison!

The First Quarter ended Friday, October 6. Students and parents may check grades via OnCampus, as Concordia does not issue report cards at the end of the quarter. Please contact your teacher(s) if you have questions about a course. Please contact the school’s Guidance Office if you need login assistance to OnCampus.

I encourage and invite parents to attend our Parent-Teacher conferences at Concordia on Thursday, October 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The format of the evening is a first come - first serve approach with teachers stationed in the gymnasium and cafeteria area. Concurrently, parent presentations are given by Concordia’s School Counselors and Administrators in the Worship Conference Center and Physical Fitness Center. Parent workshops discuss college planning, technology use at home & school, and counseling services available at school and in the Fort Wayne community.

Go Concordia!

Patrick Frerking,
Principal
