Students earn awards in math competition

On Feb. 7, 40 CLHS students were nominated to participate in the American Mathematics Competition, a nationwide mathematics contest. Congratulations to the following Concordia students who received site awards, indicating they had the top scores among CLHS students:

AMC 10

3rd place – Freshman Caleb Walz

2nd place – Sophomore Ben Sutter

1st place – Sophomore Elijah Zillman

AMC 12

3rd place – Junior David Kujak

2nd place – Senior Nathan Walz

1st place – Senior Hannah Koch

These scores are now submitted for national competition. Hannah will be receiving her site award at the Senior Honors Evening, and Elijah will receive his site award at the Underclass Awards Assembly later this spring.
