Hello Concordia,
Happy Easter - He Is Risen!
Easter greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ, our crucified and risen Savior! He is risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah!
Concordia has been very active with a large number of educational travel activities this past month:
- Our 10 Spanish students and Mrs. Paula Booth have returned from their 17-day educational exchange with Colegio Fuentelarreyna in Madrid, Spain. Congratulations to Mrs. Booth for her hard work in starting this cultural and language exchange.
- Today we say Auf Wiedersehen und Gottes Segen to our 20 visiting students and two teachers from Lüdenscheid, Germany, who have been with us at Concordia since March 16. A huge thank you to our families who hosted and housed the visiting students during their three-week visit.
- Our A Cappella Choir had a fantastic choir tour to/from New York City on their five-day tour with concerts in Ohio, Buffalo, and Pennsylvania.
- Our Band will be on tour to Michigan, April 12-15 with their home concert at Concordia on April 16.
- HOSA (future health professionals) have been attending the Indiana State HOSA conference the past four days. This group is led by Mrs. Crystal Castleman.
- Our sophomore religion students visited the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter in Kentucky shortly before Spring Break.
- Mychal Thom, Mr. Josh Sommermeyer, and Mr. Mark Dolde, had a very positive visit with our sister-school, Concordia Dalian International High School, continuing plans to enroll some of their students with us at Concordia Lutheran High School next school year.
