Biography

Mrs. Jennifer (Reynolds) Porath joined Concordia in 2019-20 as the Director of Bands. She received her undergraduate degree from Concordia University, Nebraska in Music Education, receiving certifications for K-12 music, band, and choir. During her time at CUNE, she participated in numerous ensembles, including Symphonic and Jazz Bands, A Cappella and Chamber Choirs, and even the Concordia Handbell Choir! She also had the honor of being selected to be the student conductor for the A Cappella Choir for her senior year. 

 

Mrs. Porath previously taught instrumental band at Lutheran South High School and their elementary/middle schools in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a graduate from Concordia University Nebraska and a 2012 graduate from our Concordia Lutheran High School.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Porath has been participating in choirs and bands of various levels, including the CLHS A Cappella Choir and Symphonic Band.
