About Drama
The Drama Department at Concordia gives students an outlet for expression. It teaches public speaking skills, builds character and lets them have a little fun along the way.
Students have the opportunity to work in many performances throughout the year—both in front and behind the stage.
The Drama Department performs five productions annually, including a musical and a children’s theater production. Performers, as well as stage crew members, are needed. Concordia is a member of the International Thespian Society, Troupe #4055. The group has started to compete and attend the Regional Thespian Conference.
Open to all students. You must audition for play and musical parts. If interested in stage crew, inquire for available positions. Points are earned for working in any aspect of theater. Thirty points are necessary to letter.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students in high school or younger. They may be purchased at the door or online by clicking here.
