About Math
The CLHS Mathematics Department empowers students to serve their Lord by broadening their mathematical skills through critical and creative thinking for lifelong learning.
The Mathematics Department provides rigorous training in necessary mathematical skills, including critical thinking, problem solving and communication activities. This training is enhanced by the use of student technology.
At CLHS, we offer Advanced Placement courses in Statistics and Calculus. We also offer Honors courses in Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry. Students can take AP Statistics, AP Calculus, and Honors Algebra II for college credit through PFW’s Collegiate Connection.
The Math Lab course is intended to engage the student in supplemental activities that support the Algebra I curriculum and further prepare the student for the math assessment that is required by the state of Indiana for graduation.
