If you have at least one school year of experience on a band instrument, the Concordia Junior Cadets Summer Band Program is for you!
Hone your skills in marching, small group lessons and a concert band experience. All participants will have the opportunity to march in the Turtle Days Parade in Churubusco, IN on Saturday, June 14.
Led by Concordia’s Band Directors and student leaders of the Concordia Lutheran High School Band, the Junior Cadets Band Camp is a rewarding, challenging experience for those looking to grow musically and in their marching skills. The goal? For you to give God the glory, to have a terrific time, to grow musically, and to march and perform in the Turtle Days Parade.
You will receive a t-shirt, all necessary music, instruction, and leadership for the camp sessions, daily snacks, and awards.
Camp Dates: June 9-13, Parade on June 14
Cost: $75
Ages: Grades 5 through 9 with at least one year of experience on an instrument
Times: 9:00 a.m. to noon
Where: Concordia Lutheran High School, Various Rooms and Practice Outside
