Filmmaking Camp
Filmmaking Camp - Myths and Legends
Percy Jackson, the Loch Ness Monster, Atlantis, King Arthur, Cinderella, Bigfoot, Area 51 – myths and legends have always been an integral part of our culture, going back to the beginning of human history. In this summer camp, students will make fun short films based on myths and legends from around the world! Campers will learn about filmmaking techniques such as shot composition, greenscreen, editing, directing, and acting - all while using professional-level equipment!
This is a beginning filmmaking camp so no experience is necessary. It is recommended that students bring a smartphone, but not required. If students do not have a smartphone, an alternative device will be provided during camp. At the end of the camp, the short films will be screened in a showcase that parents are welcome to attend. The films will also be available as a digital link to watch later - a great memory for years to come!
