Last week, we recognized our Class of 2022 graduates. At Commencement, our Valedictorian Dan Adair and our Salutatorian Nolan Labahn spoke to the class. Here are those moving words.

Concordia Lutheran High School is honoring its alumni for their accomplishments since graduation during the 2022 Commencement ceremony on May 29 at the Historic Embassy Theatre.

Junior Achievement has announced the student winners of the JA Career Success Essay Contest. The winners for Concordia Lutheran High School are Dontrell Johnson and Wyatt Raney! Dontrell wrote about wanting to be a psychologist, and Wyatt wrote about wanting to be a pilot.

As we near the end of another school year, we are once again preparing for another season of summer school. As we have in the past, we are continuing to offer a wide variety of summer school courses, both online and on-site that would count toward one’s high school credits.

So that you are aware, this summer we are moving our systems away from Blackbaud (OnCampus and SMART) and changing to FACTS. This change is happening because Blackbaud is unable to comply with new state mandates.

Concordia Lutheran High School’s senior athletes were honored tonight during the Senior Athletic Awards. In addition to honoring our student athletes, special awards were presented to seniors and coaches.

The following students were recognized today during our 2021-22 Underclassmen Award Ceremony.

Lutheran Life Villages (LLV), faith based, non-profit senior living community, announced today that Ashley Reed, Piper Trail Wellness Coordinator and Alex Dahnke, Concordia Lutheran High School Senior and LLV Business Office Intern, were named award winners at the Leading Age Indiana Spring Conference. LeadingAge Indiana is an association representing not-for-profit services and providers for the elderly.

Members of the senior class were recognized tonight for their academic accomplishments. Also, two college scholarships were awarded this evening, the Carl F Gallmeier Memorial Endowed College Scholarship and the Martin Fischer Memorial Scholarship.

Mental Health can be a stigma for many, BUT your emotional well-being should not! All of us, at one point in our lives have had an altered emotional state, and not feeling quite ourselves. Being sad due to a limitation, loss of a loved one, feeling overwhelmed or feelings of not having a purpose can happen to any one of us. No one should feel less of themselves for asking for help. You are brave just by asking.
