Many studies predict that by 2050, the United States will be the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world.

Seth Bennett, Class of 2004, works as a Mortgage Loan Advisor. He knew in high school that he wanted to be involved in the lending/real estate industries. He was recently named a Forty under 40 recipient by the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly.

As I sit and ponder the future, I cannot help thinking back over the last 29 years at Concordia. I never expected to be here for 29 years. These years have been filled with laughter, joy, excitement and tears. When asked what I will miss the most, I cannot honestly say.

Mrs. Joy Tiefel joined the staff in January 2021. She is the Spanish 1 teacher. She returned to CLHS after having student taught here with Mrs. Darcy Lugo in 2014.

Recently, our Health and Wellness classes were introduced to two different life saving topics, and we were fortunate enough to have a guest speaker, Riley, present the Stop the Bleed program to our classes.

I feel like by now I should be a pro at helping our kids choose a college. After all, this one is our third and final kid to go. So why did I feel so lost the past few months? The reality is, each kid is different well, at least mine were.

Teaching seniors for more than 20 years has been one of the great joys and privileges of my life.  And although I was certainly called to be a teacher, it is important to me that my students realize that each of us hears God’s call in a very different way.

This semester I have had a student teacher taking over my classes which has given me a lot of time to observe things in my classroom that I am often too busy to notice.

From January 27 through February 11 I traveled to Ghana, West Africa with my husband, Rev. Dr. Carl Rockrohr, to provide training to Sunday School teachers and church leaders of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ghana (ELCG).

Paige Rogers, a 2021 Concordia graduate, is returning to the high school on Friday to talk about her life as a professional race car driver.
