Concordia Lutheran High School will host the inaugural A.J. Arnett 5K Honor Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. May 21 (Armed Forces Day) at the high school. The run/walk is organized by JROTC students and will benefit Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana.

This year, Concordia Lutheran High School’s CANstruction team is building Winnie the Pooh and Piglet sculptures to bring awareness to hungry children everywhere.

The team will be accepting can and cash donations at the high school on April 14, and each donation is used as a vote for the People’s Choice Award. The cans will be used for the structure and then donated to the Community Harvest Food Bank.

Concordia Lutheran High School’s awarding winning band is touring Wisconsin from April 14-17.

Patrick Frerking has accepted the call to be the 11th principal of Concordia Lutheran High School. He currently serves as the middle and high school principal for Concordia International School Hanoi in Vietnam.

“Cheetah Blood,” by Concordia Lutheran High School students Noah Sheaffer and Brent Fugate, warns about the misuse of cheetah blood as an athletic enhancement drug. “USTW,” by Central Lutheran middle school students Olivia Schuller, Elly Spieth, Evy Spieth, Madison Werling and Lauren Meyer, commentates the epic battle of a thumb war.

John Minnich has been named the next Chief Financial Officer of Concordia Lutheran High School.

Concordia Lutheran High School Chamber Choir will participate in the first-ever ISSMA Vocal Jazz State Finals on Friday evening.
